Thanks, I'll get something logged for investigation, the timing point probably wants to be disabled as it's not used in real life and isn't required in the sim.

Mantis 36032 to investigate. While it will generate a warning I don't think it will affect the train running.

Thanks Karl, I am also trying to timetable an ECS move from Helsby P4 towards Mickle Trafford via P2. I can set routes HY38 (P4) - HY36 (rev HY13), HY13 - HY15 (P2 back-end position), and HY16 - HY4. But the route HY15 to HY16 says "no route available". Is this correct? Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

Hi, One last thing for now, it might be worth clarifying in the manual that trains timetabled to set down or have activities at Chester UDG need the UDG TIPLOC in their timetable. Using CHST platform code UDG will result in a wrong route call. Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

Hi, With the Wrexham single set in Up direction (CR497-CN944), an attempt to grant 485 slot gives the rather curt message "Cannot give", in the messages window. Should this say "Cannot give slot"? Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

Hi, For ECS trains with a class 5 TRN, they have been happily accepting Chester platform UDG as a passing location (as well as a stopping point if thru line stop). However 3D80 from Crewe, which was timetabled to pass Chester platform DTL, gave a wrong route call "not allowed on goods lines" when sent via UDG as the DTL was occupied. I already mentioned some time ago that the current default class of service rules seem to be set up the wrong way around for Class 3 trains. Basically the current setup means that loco-hauled class 3 trains (without any particular speed classes set) are mostly classified as ECS workings (when I'd say that a loco-hauled class 3 is more likely a parcels train in a 90s-or-earlier timetable), whereas trains with one of the various passenger trains speed classes (EMU/DMU/HST/SP/EPS/etc.) are currently classified as Passenger workings (when in fact they're more likely a priority ECS working in a modern-ish timetable). Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.
